Rich colour and in-depth knowledge, gained through experience, mean that this book is full of secrets and know-how that every spinner wants to learn. The interesting text gives you thoughts on spinning, preparation, sheep breeds, ways of spinning, blending, finishing and more. It's quite technical talking of drafting, twist, staple length but has lots of written how-tos so that you understand everything. It is filled with sumptuous colour and examples of yarns as well as knitted swatches. She teaches you how to use the yarns not just spin them. There are twelve designer knitting patterns included in the book. There is also a basic guide to knitting. An amazing book that is stitched together with fabulous colour photography.
