Simply select your subject, trace your outline and get painting right away, using this this fun, portable card deck from popular artist Marina Bakasova (@marinabksv)!

Discover an inspiring, beginner-friendly collection of 50 sweet projects to paint in watercolour, from food and flowers to animals, in just four easy stages each.

  • The front of each card tells you the project’s skill level, the mixes you’ll need, and shows you step by step how to create your painting, starting from a template and building up the layers of watercolour paint to culminate in the finished painting on the reverse of the card. The outlines are full-size so you can trace them off onto watercolour paper and get started straight away.
  • Each project can be completed in just four simple steps each, using a small selection of colours and a handful of tried-and-tested watercolour techniques.
  • The 50 projects are themed, so you can choose from flowers and plants, food and drink, insects and animals, and many more.
  • Portable and practical: at 140 x 85mm, the cards are the perfect size for propping up in a small studio or workspace as you paint.

Maybe you want to create a hand-painted birthday card or a piece of artwork to frame and hang on the wall; embellish your journals and planners; or learn the relaxing art of painting with watercolours? Whatever your motivation, with 50 projects to choose from you’ll find something to inspire you.
