The title attracted me to this book and the patterns are very appealing. Its great that the author has given alternative yarns as the originals are not readily available. For a beginner ready to start a first jumper project The metro plus or Dubarry projects would be great. The jumpers and cardigans cover all seasons and I particularly like the fact that one of the patterns uses the mosaic technique. There is a good section of techniques and abbreviations are clearly explained. This is a visually attractive book with some great ideas.
