This super-elementary guide will help you produce pleasing results quickly and without getting over-technical. In fact, youll find washes, blending and hues appearing almost naturally while you work on simple shapes that produce realistic and recognisable results. Success is always encouraging and you should find that youre progressing faster than you think and want to explore further.
Im not sure theres a lot more to say about this. Its nicely done and reasonably priced. The reproduction is perhaps a little coarse in places, but you arent working with fine detail, so this is barely noticeable and in no way detracts from the books appeal.
I absolutely love using the Search Press bookstheyre always packed with amazing ideas and full instructions to help you create a masterpiece. For my recent doodle, I was inspired by Paint 50: Watercolour Nature. Even though my final design doesn't look exactly like the one in the book, I promise it was my starting point! Inspiration comes in many forms, and sometimes the best part is where your creativity takes you from there.
