A Place at the Table

"Love thy neighbor as thyself." One of Jesus's most well-known teachings calls us to express genuine compassion and kindness toward others. But how can we live this way daily?

This 90-day devotional offers spiritual encouragement to embrace others around you through action and reflection, to foster an environment of inclusivity and understanding. Use the "Call to Act" prompts to take meaningful steps in creating a safe, accepting, and supportive community for all, expressing love for your neighbors in real, tangible ways. Assess your impact and spiritual growth in the "Call to Reflect" sections to reveal how even small acts of kindness echo outward in powerful ways.

Written by Reverend Darrell Goodwin, Executive Conference Minister for the Southern New England Conference of the United Church of Christ, this 90-day journey will inspire transformation, nurture hope, and empower hearts to live Christ's teachings of love with authenticity.
