From the home of Hans Christian Andersen come these fun motifs inspired by his famous fairy tales that tatters will adore!

Each design is introduced with an extract from the relevant fairy tale. Along with the 'mood' shots taken at Andersen's house, there are full page, clear colour photographs of the tatting opposite the pattern to be followed. The book is for people who already tat, as it really is a craft that needs to be shown to you so beginners should find someone to introduce the basics before tackling any of the designs. There are explanations though for more complex manoeuvres.

This is a collection of 12 fun and unusual motifs inspired by fairy tales, including Thumbelina, The Snow Man and The Tinderbox, but particular favourites have to be The Princess and The Pea, and The Ugly Duckling. Even if you are unfamiliar with some of the tales, it is an excellent resource for out of the ordinary designs. For example, the Fir Tree design is perfect for Christmas and there's a piggy bank full of coins too!

The designs also incorporate beads and sequins which make for interesting and fun patterns that tatters will find hard to resist.
