Boutis is a form of quilting, much like Trapunto, where the two layers of fabric are stitched together with a design which is then padded out with thick cotton thread. The effects are decorative and hardwearing and they are shown in all their glory in this book. The book contains full instructions on how to work Boutis with clear diagrams and pull-out pattern sheet.
